My top three:
1!.Nara Shikamaru-He's able to be smart and lazy at the same time, which is really a remarkable feat!. Plus, he's an excellent leader without coming off as arrogant!.
2!.Gaara-He's strong (perfect defense), knowledgeable, and he doesn't take any bullcrap from anybody!. I think he's one of the only male characters that made a complete change of personality without changing how badass he is (besides Neji, but I hated him at the beginning)!.
3!. Tie between Naruto and Kankuro!. Naruto is the underdog of the series that we all like to root for!. He works incredibly hard to reach his dream and is an inspiration to others around him just by being himself!. He's loud and goofy at times, but I guess that's his charm!.
Kankuro, on the other hand, is different!. He isn't as noticed as his two awesome siblings, but his skills in puppetry and sarcastic humor goes a long way in my book and he just needs his moment to shine!.
The only character I'm on the fence about is Sasuke!. Sometimes, I think he is the coolest ninja out there who can't be beat in brains and brawn!. Other times, I can't stand his attitude and pray for his death each chapter!. Hopefully, he'll get better (or dead) as Kishimoto keeps the chapters coming!.
