i think my favorite romantic anime is Fruits Basket!.it's really a great one!.it made me cry in front of the computer :)!.it has 26 episodes and the story continues in the manga!. Gakuen Alice is a great one,too!.Hope you liked my answer!. :DWww@Enter-QA@Com
My favorite romantic anime of all time is Lovely Complex!. It's funny, the characters are unique (it's not every day that a really tall girl and a really short guy are a match made in heaven) and you can easily relate to it!. It has 26 episodes and can be seen with english subtitles on veoh!.com, oddwadd!.com, crunchyroll!.com, etc!.
Other great romantic animes to check out online are NANA (it incorporates romance and rock music), Ranma 1/2 (made by the creator of Inuyasha), and Ultra Maniac (a magic anime but the manga's better and shorter; plus, you could find it for a good deal at amazon!.com) and anything by the artist group CLAMP!.

About a girl who comes from a vampire family, but she has nose bleeds when she's around this particular boy!.
The Wallflower/Perfect Girl Evolution-I think 26 episodes (really funny) Reverse Harem style!. Like Ouran!.
Lovely Complex- 24 (funny/cute) typical shoujo
Peach Girl-25 Episodes (serious drama shoujo ha like the OC)
Bokura Ga Ita - 20 some episodes (typical shoujo)
Paradise Kiss - 13 episodes!? (this one is different, i liked it)
