Question: Have you named anything after an anime character!?
I have!. We're getting another dog and we were thinking of names and I wanted to name her Lucy and my family agreed (Lucy is a diclonius in the anime Elfen Lied)!.
It doesn't have to be an animal!. It could be anything I guess!.

Yes I will admit to doing that!. I used to name things after characters from the Lunar video game series all the time and I still occasionally give things Japanese names!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
For a science project I'm having to raise praying mantises!. It's AWESOME! One I named Jim (aka Jim Hawkins from Treasure Island- I was him in a play), the next I named Toboe [Wolf's Rain], and the last one I named Tobi from Naruto!
