I prefer Light as well, however, when you get those "I'm going to take over the world, rule it as a God, and smite anyone who gets in my way!." Well!.!.!.people don't look too kindly on that, because they know it pretty much takes away some of their free choice as human beings!. You steal something, you die!. You rape, you die!. You kill, you die!. You neglect your kids, you die!. You pass AIDS knowingly on to someone, you die!. You do drugs, you die!. You drink, you die!. You smoke, you die!. Take away the more extreme choice by basically stating that a person will die if they do anything wrong, well, then they begin to wonder, how bad does it have to be!? Will I die simply because I have a different opinion!?

While I absolutely love Light, I can understand why he had to die, I don't think that people, even in a fictional world, were ready for his rule!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
