I don't know why!? Because people kept expecting it not to end like the way it did!? Did you ever think they'd get Naraku!? I think that's why it's supposed to be this never ending fantasy story! :D

Inu yasha, as a manga, is still continuing however the anime producers decided to stop roughly 3/4 into the manga story line!. It could be that they felt that that was a good enough ending point or that they're waiting for the actual series to end since the manga seems to be hitting its main climax!.
Either way, its possible that an OVA or some movie adaptation of the end may come out considering how popular the series is!. We can only hope :3Www@Enter-QA@Com

b/c it ended with no kind of conclusion at all the anime is over now and no there won't be more episodes so just read the manga there is still a bunch of stuff to happen so yeah read the mangaWww@Enter-QA@Com
