The "Spider-Man 2099" title only last four years, from 1992 to 1996, and ended with issue #48!. The character also appeared in a mini-series ('World of 2099') along with the other characters from that time period, and last appeared in a one shot publication, the name of which I cannot remember, which brought a closure to the various 2099 series!. Miguel O'Hara, the Spider-Man of 2099 has not appeared again since mid-1998, and likely won't appear again in the future!.
You should be able to buy the entire series, and every appearance of the character without having to spend very much, if you want!. I wouldn't look for any of the 2099 books to increase in value soon, and at this point most of them aren't worth the prices printed on them!. A complete collection of Spider-Man 2099 would probably only be of interest to a few Spider-Man completists, and supply should continue to outstrip demand for the next few decades (unless something completely unforeseen happens to increase interest in the character again, which I would not expect)!. If you like the character, see if you can't get the entire series for a bit less than the combined newstand prices of the series (early issue may cost a bit more than you would like, but most issues should be fairly cheap (a dollar or less), and don't expect to be able to ever sell it for more than you paid!. If the books do increase in value, that would just be a bonus!. Sometimes it is nice to have certain comic books just because you want to read them now and again!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
