The caveman ate a lot, and after eating got really strong!. The plot of the show was he would go around trying to find these blob creatures throughout history that would get powerful and become things or enable the caveman to do special things!. It sounds vaguely similar to Flint the Time Detective!. I know it used to air on Sunday morning, because I watched it!. I think it was on Fox Family's "Made in Japan" block, along with Monster Rancher and Digimon!.
