Because these writers/artists are on crack, they know what it is to be addicted!. Therefore, they write crack-worthy manga material, release it to the populace, and now the entire planet is addicted to manga, driving it into apocalypse as pilots around the world crash their planes when they try to read the latest chapter of naruto on their blackberries!.

But seriously, i think it is marketing!. People tend follow manga on a weekly basis and we readers are like friggen fish on a line, being hooked on the story!. Its like the publishers are sprinkling little bits of crack on our heads ever so often, so we can come looking for our fix every week!.
also, a "good" manga just keeps going and builds up until it is well past 20 to 30 volumes!. Anyone that tries to pick up a series in this state will have to devote the next few weeks to play catch up, a task which can also be described as gargantuan, time consuming, and did we forget to mention, addicting!.

Because it is ORIGINAL and the anime does miss something out but the manga doesn't!. As you see, you could see the manga author does need to make his/her own!. First manga, then someone will make anime for him/her!. You'll see some mangas has plenty of chapters than anime episodes!.
And especially, I like manga original better than anime!. ^^

well!.!.!.it's good because when you look at the first page you can be interested in what's going to happen next!.!.and you eventually end up addicted to the series because the story is good!.!.!.you should try reading it sometime! well, i'm not ordering you to do it but if you want to, you can!.!.!. well!. aside from quality storytelling and character development and twists that change the theme, the character designs are awesome, much better than the crappy 4-fingered boulder-shaped head, violentless child-friendly cartoons!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
