Hidan is immortal and is only considered dead to the Akatsuki becoz they have no idea what happened to him!.!.!.!.of course we know that he is burried forever in the naara clans land and most likely would not return anytime in the near future as Shikamaru made it clear his clansman would ensure that he stayed burried!.!.!.!.!.!.!.but you know how stories like this go!.!.!.eventually some idiot will uncover a talking head and then we will see the return of Jashin and blah blah blah!.!.!.!.!.
hopefully he stays there!.!.!.!.!.i reckon they shouldve stuck his head on a pike and taken him to the academy where students could use him to practice their genjutsu on!.!.!.!.that would be a more constuctive way to use him and he cant make hand sigs and yeah it would be funny as hell
