WHY IS IT IN EVERY ANIME THEIRS A MISSING PARENT ITS WEIRD BUT ALMOST EVERY ANIME I WATCH THE CHARACTERS DONT HAVE PARENTS OR THEY HAVE ONE OR NONE

When you refer to Sailor Moon:
Rei and Makoto are orphans, both their parents died!. Rei is being raised by her grandfather!.
Ami's parents are divorced, she lives with her mother who never appears in the anime!. We vaguely know her father is alive because he sends her paintings by mail, but we never meet him!.
We don't know much about Minako's family or anything!.
Usagi lives with her two parents just that her father is usually working!.
Hotaru's mother died when she was young and her father got posessed by a demonic lunatic!. Nuff said!.
We don't know much about Haruka, Michiru & Setsuna to know who their parents are and if they are alive (that would be tricky with Setsuna because we don't know when she was born given she can Time Travel)!.
I guess many times mangakas like their characters to not have parents (or just live with one who's rarely around the house) so that they don't have someone scolding them and limiting what they can or cannot do!.
I could assume that mangakas of fantasy series in particular would think that parents would believe their kids are looney because they can see ghosts or fight for love & justice in skimpy miniskirts and wouldn't let them do anything!.
As for Yu Yu Hakusho, knowing Yussuke's mother, I'm quite sure Yusuke was conceived in a one-nighter when his mom was drunk (maybe the manga has more info!?!?)!.
I think St!. Tail is one of the few series where the main character (a thief who uses magic in a mini skirt costume to boot) has both parents who are alive and are ALWAYS around the house yet they never snoop around Meimi's nighttime job!. The series does explain that Meimi's father is a professional magician and her mother is a retired thief!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
