Well Naoko will always say Haruka & Michiru are like very close friends, but I like them as a couple!. Without them to revolutionize how lesbianism was seen in anime, we would have never been given the greatness that was Utena (and believe me, if you find Haruka & Michiru's relationship to be offensive, Utena will whoop you away)!.
Hrm!.!. Serena isn't my favorite character from that series!. I do find her to be funny in the first season (the episode where she dresses up as a hooker in a nightbar is a classic episode that wasn't dubbed to english, too bad, it's a great episode ??)!. However, she matures to be a really great person in SM Stars!. Losing Darien and facing the most powerful villain ever (her greatness the fearful Sailor Galaxia), not to mention she was left with the choice of killing Uranus and Neptune who turned back against her (she doesn't kill em in the anime, but she kills them in the manga without thinking twice)!.
I personally like the villains more!. The S and Stars season villains are my favorites!. Gotta love the kinky things Guermatoid liked to do with the Witches 5 in his free time (hahaha, I'll never see the game Twister with the same eyes ever again)!. And Sailor Tin Nyanko, woo hoo; gotta love a villain with multi personality disorder who is going suicidal in a last second of repentance!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Uranus and Neptune are openly gay but if you really think about it the whole series has many lesbian undertones!.
