i would have to bet that smallville season 8 will begin on the first Thursday of October!. Yes Kara will be back from the phantom zone at some point!. She is a pivotal character in the history of superman and leaving her in the phantom zone truly isn't an option!. Yes Clark will embrace his destiny as superman or there wouldn't be a superman character to read about or make movies!. We all know that this is a new version of superman but the story is indeed building to him becoming the greatest hero ever!. Lexi is not going to come back from the dark side because he doesn't think he's the villain, he believes he is saving the world from the power of superman!. He thinks by killing him he is going to prevent Superman's rise to power as king of the world, which is actually ironic since Lex will some day become the president of the united states which is the same thing as being king of the world or the most power human alive!.
