Rin and Kakashi managed to escape, leaving Obito to be buried under the rubbles, but not before Kakashi vows to Obito that he will protect Rin with his life!. However, it seems that Kakashi failed to keep this promise because although Rin's whereabouts are unknown, she is already presumed to be dead since Kakashi once said to Sasuke (in their last conversation before Sasuke left Konoha) that everyone close to him (this should include Rin) is already dead!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The only one who had died was Obito!. After the attack from the enemy ninjas there hid out started to collapse!. At that point boulders stared to fall from over head,and everyone escape except for Obito who was crushed and kill under the rocks!. However just before he died he gave Kakashi his sharingan eye as a gift!. After that everyone escape!.
