Can rolo and the emperor use their geass on one person more than once like mao!?

Rolo can on multiple people!. For example see the second episode where he uses it in the nightmare and then in the fourth where he uses it on Lelouch specifically!. Rolo's Geass is dependent on the range of use!. Where as with the Emperor we have not been given enough information!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
