Ok I watched last nights episode and it got me thinking, does the rule to 'if you use the death note you can't go to heaven or #*^!' (sorry don't like swaring) apply to Light's dad!? I mean he didn't use the death note but he got the shikigami eyes and he only wrote the first name of Mello's name so does it (I hope it doesn't)!? also did Light even care that his father died!? All he did during his dad's final hours was try to purswaid him to right Mello's name in the Death Note!. I think he is insane but come on it is your own dad! also why did the other shikigami come!? I have been skipping around with the episodes so I don't know if I missed something important!. Now for the fun part, if you were Ryuk and you were going to decide to kill Light how would he die!? It must be realistic and if other people from the anime are involved it must be something they would do!. By the way if you don't know Death Note the live action film is coming to the US the website is deathnotefilms!.com!. thnksWww@Enter-QA@Com

Sidoh wanted his death note back!. Havent you noticed that there were too many floating around!. Ryuk had two and so did Rem!. Light got the extra one from Ryuk and Misa got the other one from Rem!. Where did the other come from!? That one was Sidohs and he wanted it back!.

Good Question I don't know but I hope he went to heaven!.And that other shinigami came to get his death note back that ryuuk stole!.If I were Ryuuk I would make Light would write his OWN name in the death note and he would write that he would be tortured by all the people he ever killed!.I hate Light ever since he killed my favorite character,L!.=[Www@Enter-QA@Com

His dad did not "technically" use the notebook, however he did make the deal with Ryuk so it's a toss up!. Remember Light's plans of a "better world with him as judge, jury and eventually god" has him thinking, it would be okay for a few sacrafices for the greater good!. He cared that his dad died, but why not take out mello too!. You could tell that his dad was in very bad shape, so why not get some good out of his death!. The other shikigami came (episode prior to this saturday) when he relized that he lost his book (which is Ryuk's second book)!. When using the notebook, you know that you can plan everything up to the moment of death!. I would forsee that "N" finds out that Light and his girl are the true kira, finds a way to access the notebook, and writes a confession before their untimely deaths!. Or to make it real interesting, Light does not get caught, all obsticals in his way are delt with and he becomes "God"!. I like Light and his thoughts!. for light's dad, i think it will not apply, the death note is used to put a person's name on it and the person will die, technically he did not do anything such, he just traded eyes with ryuk and i think it is not form of using the death note, and at the last minute, he never really intend to use it, i guess!.!.!.

light, he never really cared who died for his "advocacy" (what a nice word), he even thought of killing her own sister right!? and on the lasy episode, he was even scrutinizing his father and calling him a fool for not killing melo (so rude of night)
