Question: My gf and I have been working on a comic book but don't know how to get it published!. Can anyone help!?
Answers:
How to publsih your manga!?
1!. Submit inquiries to some comics-publishing companies in your country!. Your inquiry should contain questions on how they choose a new comics for serialization!.
2!. If they told you to visit their office and bring your manuscripts, do it!.
3!. Here comes the difficult part!. There are many possibilities on what they'll do after reading your manuscripts!. The worst will be complete rejection of your work!. They might reason out that your drawing skill is poor, the plot is common, the character designs are poor, etc!. Another possibility (if they found the plot good but the drawing bad) is that they'll just let you be the author and the illustrator is a different one!. The reverse is a possibility too (if they found your plot boring but your drawings good)!. They'll hire you as an illustrator but this time you'll not be working on your original plot idea!. And the possibility you'll need to target is that they'll publish your own work (your plot and your drawings)!.
4!. Once the publishing company began the publication of your work, you'll need to work very hard!. The company will at first determine how popular your manga will become!. So they'll just contract you for few chapters!. If your manga will not be popular with the readers, they'll stop publishing your work!. However, if it became popular, they'll contract you for more chapters!. So, again, you must work very hard so that the popularity of your manga will not decline!. You may hire some assistants you can help with your drawings!.

You may have to resort to publishing it yourself, but send some letters of query to the lower ranks of comic book publishers!. You might luck out and find someone else who will take a chance on an original feature!. If you do, it is unlikely you will make any real money (certainly not enough to survive on), but you may be able to parlay a few publication credits into a stint with a slightly better publisher, to another stint with a publisher who actually turns a profit and makes a living publishing comics!. With dilligence, you might actually wind up having minor careers in the comic book industry!.

First learn as much as you can about comic books, then produce some samples of what you can do (and I assume one of you can draw well enough to tell a story in pictures, if not that is something one of you will have to master before you can even consider moving on) and produce a script that could be used as a finished product (of a sample issue of the proposed comic)!. No matter what happens, never sell someone else the full rights to any potential series you might invent!. When you feel like you know what you are doing, concentrate on finding a publisher you can work with!. By then you had better have the concepts and the conventions of the business down and you had better be prepared to at least act like professionals!. From that point on, the deciding factor could be as much luck as talent or anything else!. Comic books are a highly competative business and a notoriously fickle audience!. That audience is also shrinking, and comics are facing a tougher future than they have ever faced before!.

Good luck, and do not expect immediate success!. In fact, you might be better off not expecting any success at all, so that if you do make any progress it will come as a pleasant surprize!. Good luck, because you will need it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I've had a friend that started drawing comic books!. He went to comic book and anime conventions!. There you'll have a chance to meet publishers and show them your work!. If they like it, it may get published!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
