Question: Anime Fans-My friend thinks I'm weird for watching anime!?
Ok so we were outside at break, and my best friend says I'm weird for watching those "crazy Chinese cartoons" (in her words)!. Then she starts to laugh!.
I'm not easily offended,I've been called weird countless times before, but I wanted to know someone else's thought on this!. If someone told you this, how would you react!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

If I were you I would tell her that first of all, Anime is Japanese~ and second of all, they aren't weird, but awesome! I would then proceed to try and find an Anime that I could show her that would change her mind about Anime alltogether =)Www@Enter-QA@Com

first off id call them dumb because they probably have never even given it a try before so what do they know and anime is japanese not chinese so i really wouldn't care thats just ignorance on there part
let her watch samurai x trust and betrayel that anime will convert any one i would suggest naruto but it starts off slow and she may not like it and the good stuff doesn't start until shippuden so yeah but what about all the **** she likes i bet she just thinks cartoons are for kids and thats why she says your werid for watching it lol she really knows nothingWww@Enter-QA@Com

i have had this happen, i simply told them, I am weird and proud of it!. do you have a probablem with that!? most people don't have a response if you willing to call yourself werid there sort of dumbfounded!. i just say to them werid means different and i like being different!. thats what i do!. would you want to be the same has every one else!? anyway thats how i would reacted!.

me and my group of friends get a history room in school at dinner time and we sit and watch anime all dinner, yes countless people will say that watching anime is wierd, if shes a close friend the i wouldnt worry about her little giggly fits about whatever anime u watch, but if shes doing it deliberatly to make fun of u, u should tell her that u dont care what she thinks and its upto you what u like, if u wish to watch Japanese manga, then u go watch it

I know how you feel!! When i am talking about anime to my other friend everyone just looks at us like we are crazy!!! Oh well!. It is a good thing that i dont care what people think about me!!
