I'm a little curious on what this is and what it is called!. I recently seen this in a fan based manga and they showed a recipe of it!.
So, does anyone know what they were called, and if so, where in the anime did they mention it and if you have the recipe for it, please tell me!.

Do you mean the "hyorogan", the military food ration pellets (from the world of Naruto)!? I have a book (from Borders) called "Naruto: The offical Fan Book"!. It's all about character information, and questions people have asked the characters, the origonaly Naruto chapter, etc!. One thing they have is how to make the food ration pellets (Ebisu teaches you)!. You can easily get the book at any book store, good luck! (I haven't made them yet)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
