you mean is it possible to be that smart in the real world!? no, i don't think so!. there are people out there who have prolly the same IQ levels that L, Light, Near and Mello have (you know, like the people in the Mensa)!. but no one has figured out where bin Laden is, where Natalee Holloway is, and all those unsolved cases that L will manage to crack!. IQ after all, measures only one side of intelligence!.
L's genius is really one of a kind!. he died when he was 25 years old, and in those 25 years he has managed to solve more than 2,000 cases, cases that not even the FBI were able to solve, cases that were deemed unsolveable!. 25 years, 2,000 cases!.!.!.doing the math, that's 80 CASES A YEAR IN HIS LIFE!! no one can think like L can, really!. and no one is as brave as him, putting his life on the line by showing his face to the person he suspects!.
i hate it when people ask, "who's smarter, L or Light!?" or "L or Near!?" those questions are irrelevant!. L's downfall was he doubted his deductions, he didn't become less smart!. Light's downfall was his arrogance, he was just as smart as he was when he started but his gloating became signposts for Near to follow (like in episode30!.!.!.geez, Light)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I remembering reading, and I thought he was genius!. It certainly made me think about everything!.!. and how everything just seemed to fall into place!.
