I just want to ask you pplz what you think of the show and everything!. I also want to ask what you all feel about the characters and what you feel about L!.

It's my favorite anime, I think it's brilliant!. And I love L, I was depressed two weeks after you-know-which-episode ( never thought I could be like that for an anime character!.!.!.but yes, it happened )!. After episode 24!.!.!.it's just a waste of time!. It was the biggest dissapointment of my life!. They just wanted to continue the anime somehow, because it was becoming so popular, and they ruined it!. But until episode 24!.!.!.pure goldWww@Enter-QA@Com
I think it's one of the most original anime/manga that I've seen in a while!.
The characters are well thought out and well drawn (Takeshi Obata is my favorite manga artist)!.
I love L!. He has this innocence and childishness that makes him loveable!. If he was just a genius without that little childish streak, I think I would hate his character!. I also wish I could eat as many sweets as hima nd not gain a pound!
Light annoys me, just because he is so egomaniacal!.
I also really like mello and Matt, as well as Mikami!.
On this note i should mention that I do not liek the way women are portrayed in this series!. I do not like how Misa is so willing to be used and the way Light uses Kiyumi Takada as well!.

I love Death Note! Rarely ever has a series as great come along!. I have watch many anime series, and almost all of the critically acclaimed series and Death Note is still in my top 3 of all time!.
Things I like about the series:
- Kira/Yagami Light: From the begining I was drawn to him and L!. I didn't know how much till the end of the series though!.!. It was hard for me to get through the last few chapters/episodes!. His bored additude, his 'perfect' world, I liked nearly everything about Light!. Only thing I didn't like was that he couldn't pretend to care about Misa more!.
- L: First time I saw L I knew he was gonna be a unique character!. I thought he have a great impression of a 'weird' genius!. His death saddened me greatly!. Even though he lost I believe he is at the same level of genius as Light, Light was just the better manipulator!.
- The end of the series!. I know I said earlier it was hard to watch, but somehow it makes the series better in a weird way!. Like the eclipse at the end of Berserk!.
- Ryuk: Who didn't like him!?
- Mikami: He was just plain badass!. I didn't like him yelling at Kira in the last few chapters though, considering he himself had a big part in Kira's downfall!. Oh well!.

Up till around episode 24, the show is spectacular!. It had a great and imaginative plot, and the charachters were really controversial!. Light and L are both geniuses, and watching them trying to best the other was really entertaining!. L was especially super cute, and I loved him a lot!.!.!.

I LOVE the show, the plot and the everything!. The characters are well!.!.!.I don't know how to put it, in character!. I love L!. I cried when he died and have hated Light/Rem for killing him!. My newest favorite is Mello, and all of his Chocolate eatin, leather wearin, fur sportin ness!.
So all around the anime Freakin Rocks, even though L is gone(R!.I!.P) my favorite sweets lovin detective!.!.!.

it's the best freakin show out there!! i love how it makes you think!.!.!.it makes you think so you can follow the plot and Light and L's schemes, and it makes you think about your convictions!. obviously you're an L fan, but i'm sure you too (like most everyone else) probably began to question what really is right and what's wrong, and how far should we as a society go to punish criminals!. is killing criminals really wrong!?
it's weird!.!.!.i asked a question once and found that the main reason people opposed Light's ideals is because he acts without due process!. if he did, will killing criminals be ok!? is due process the only reason that makes capital punishment right!? i'm all for capital punishment actually, there are some people who just deserve it, but i can't say what Light's doing is right!. i do find myself wishing Kira exists sometimes, when i see all the crap in the world!. what Light said is right, someone has to do what he does, question is what's the right way of doing it!.
as characters (just personalities, not their beliefs) i love L more!. i love his quirkiness, i love people who don't give too much thought to their appearance, just his brain!! i think L and Light are more alike than they are different, though!. L doesn't go around killing people, but his actions sometimes are barely within the law!. he wanted to test the Death Note on a criminal, just like Light did when he first got it!. their only difference really is how they perceive justice!.
my ultimate fave is Mello though!! i love LOVE him and only when he bit the dust did i really want Light dead!! i hate Misa too, and i don't necessarily hate how women are portrayed here, i guess if Light is THAT hot and THAT powerful and charming, it can't be helped!. i can understand why Light treats the women in the show like pieces of meat, they're all complete morons!.

Light's real downfall is his arrogance, his gloating (like in the recent episode, and many more in the future) are virtual signposts that just pointed at him, all Near had to do was follow!. okay!.!. for me he show actually pretty freak!.!. just look how ppl on that time, on fear, scared and crime really going slow but ppl going too aggresive and some of them taking advantage on the situation!.!. you know, like the follower of a new god; kira bla bla bla!.!. but for me, other than that, there's still a positive impact actually!.!. like crime decreased, no exploitation!. and l getting more smarter and focus on his work!. his 'brother'; near really play the role as well as mello!. but mello too emotional and fighting between im and near really make sense and sick!. because of that, i saw mello more matured and grown as same as near!.
