Question: Is Optimus Prime considered an Epic Hero!?
I am doing a project on epic heroes, and i am wondering if Optimus Prime from transformers is one!. If not, please list any other epic heroes if possible, thank you! =)Www@Enter-QA@Com

If you're doing this project for school (and I assume you are), as a teacher, I would say no!. Now before you can argue, here's my reasoning!.
Prime lives up to the characteristics in that he is on a quest (of sorts), faces enemies, and exemplifies the qualities which we most honor!. However, one of the most important aspects of the epic hero is that he is changed by his quest!. Unless I missed an episode somewhere (or a part of the movie if you're too young to have watched the original series), Prime was not changed!. He came to Earth with the same qualities he shows throughout!. Unless you can find a way to prove that, I'd try to find another character!. If you're looking for someone in film, look at someone like Spiderman, Batman, even Captain Kirk from Star Trek!. If you want any help finding a pop culture epic hero, let me know!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Optimus Prime is not only long-lived within the fictional world of Transformers, but has been consistently popular for a good 20+ years!. That certainly isn't as long as Batman or Superman, but its certainly a good start!.
Prime's story also takes place over many generations and eras!. The works involving his background are extensive and the artwork portraying him is outstanding!. So yes, I would consider him quite epic!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
