That depends on what you mean by "seasons" exactly!.
The Japanese version split the series into four main sagas (Saiyan/Frieza/Cell/Buu!.)
The Seasons that aired on American TV aired as follows - Saiyan Saga, Frieza Saga Part 1, Frieza Saga Part 2, Garlic Jr-Death of Cell, Buu Part 1, Buu Part 2, Buu Part 3!. That amounts to roughly 7 seasons that aired on TV!. The first two featured the Ocean Group voice actors, subsequent ones featured the FUNimation in-house actors (who have since redubbed earlier seasons!.)
As for seasons on DVD, they differ slightly from those that aired on TV!. As they have not all been released, I can't say for sure how many of those there will be!. I predict there will be 8 or 9 box sets, give or take one or two!.
