Anime Rurouni Kenshin, faithfulness to manga?!

In the anime Rurouni Kenshin, how come they didn't animate the Enshi arc, Tomoe's brother and himura's guilt!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

I know this answer! It's because after two seasons, the anime had caught up to the storyline in the manga!. So for the third season, it was completely filler stories, and the ratings dropped!. For the fourth season, the show was cancelled because of the low ratings!. :(

But later the Trust and Betrayal OVAs were released, which dealt with Kenshin and Tomoe's past, without reference to the current storyline!. Those were great!.

Then they released a third OVA "Seisouhen" aka!. "remembrance" - the first half was simply old storylines drawn in the OVA animation style!. The second part of it dealt with Enishi fighting Kenshin alone - the only characters in it were Sanosuke, Kenshin, Kaoru, Yahiko, Enishi!. Then Kenshin died at the end of a strange disease (for some reason he just decided to leave, and Sano discovered him rotting in a shed in China somewhere (I think) - another reason why the third OVA had a poor reception)!. Oh yes, Kaoru gets the disease too!.

So the problems with the third OVA were the fact they rehashed the story, when it could have been used to draw some never-before-seen scenes!. Plus they changed the storyline dramatically!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yes the 1ST PERSON IS ALMOST CORRECT!. There are only 2 ovas and there is one movie!. The movie did not have really anything to do with the series and did change the story a bit!. BUT that is why is was a movie and not a 3rd ova!.
The first OVA series, Samurai X: Trust and Samurai X: Betrayal, collectively known in Japan as Tsuiokuhen (追憶編, Recollection!?) and later edited into a movie as Samurai X: Trust & Betrayal -Director's Cut, was set during the downfall of the Tokugawa shogunate and telling of Kenshin's childhood!. Only a few characters from the TV series appear in this OVA!. The OVA mainly depicts the life of Kenshin as Battōsai and his time with his first wife, Tomoe!.

The second OVA series Samurai X: Reflection, known in Japan as Seisōhen and later edited into a movie as Samurai X: Reflection -Director's Cut!. It was set both during and after the timeline of the series and tells of Kenshin and Kaoru's later years, much of which is not derived from the manga!. It also differs from the manga on some points, such as details in regard to the Jin-e and Enishi fights!. The OVA is seen as a montage of singular events surrounding the life of Kenshin, told from the point of view of Kaoru!.

Battousai rocks-I'm a Kenshin otaku!!!!Www@Enter-QA@Com
