Answers:
All the films you have listed dont show the kind of true malice and torture scenes that the Saw films do!. They are great films, but they are very graphic, show torture, graphic self harm such as a person sawing his own foot off, pulling big hooks out of their flesh, lots of blood etc!.

It depends on the 12 year old!. i wouldnt let my daughter watch them, it depends if this particular 12 year old can deal with it!.

Watch them yourself first and see what you think!.

They are listed as '18' movies for a reason, they definitely need to be an 18, they are extremely graphic and the effects are very realistic!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

she can wait a couple of years!.!.!.

saw it's too graphic, morbid, gory, and is disturbing on many levels (physically, morally, and mentally)

im not going to say that by her being 12 she cant take it, because there are young people that are more tolerant than older people and not necessarily take the movie too seriously

but i wouldnt take my chances, especially if you dont know her very very well

i saw blair witch, sleepy hollow and the exorcist, and they werent that bad (in my opinion)!. saw is just too much, and tends to go to extremes!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

uhhh, I would have to say YES! I am 32 and it is terrible for me to see! Obviously she has seen some tough stuff!.!.!.but I wouldnt allow her to watch it around me!. Now, if someone else lets her watch it, that is on them!. She should be older to see those movies!. Just because she has seen others on that level, doesnt mean she should have seen them!. Play something else, just for the sanity of it!. You wouldnt be asking if you didnt doubt it!. "When in doubt, throw it out"Www@Enter-QA@Com

Im 17 and I only saw the first movie and it was too disturbing for me to watch! I cant even imagine how a 12 year old would take it! Saw is just really graphic and I know that my best friend watched it once and had to leave the room because she was about to puke and because she was so scared! But I guess its the parents choice if they will allow them to watch it!. I mean its rated R so that might be a little young for kids who are 12! :-PWww@Enter-QA@Com

Simply put, yes!. Movies like those are rated 15 / 18 etc for a reason!. I'm not joining up with the anti-GTA crowd and saying that under-age viewers will go out and re-enact the films (though I did, at the age of 8, get into serious trouble at school for quoting from Top Gun!)!.

Follow the guidelines!. A 15 movie with a balanced story is one thing, an 18 with little other than horror and gratuitous violence is quite another!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

when i was a kid i always wanted to watch all the freddy krueger horrors but they were all rated 18 and i was like 10yrs old!.!.!.neway ma dad purchased the whole series and recorded them on to a vhs and deleted all the obscene and adult content out!. i loved the film cus it satisfied my young imagination and it wasn't disturbing enuff to turn me into a serial killer!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yes, this is to explicit for a 12 year old!.
but hey this is my opinion she just might like stuff like that!.
I don't know why anyone would I saw the first 3 Saw's but I could not even make myself watch the 4th one I knew it was going to be even grosser and more explicit and I am well of age!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yes it would!. Saw is on a completely different level to all those other films and is far more realistic and horribly GRAFIC!!!! DOn't get me wrong, they are my favorite set of horrors EVER but I'm 21 and love them because they shook me up!. No 12 year old should be watching SAW!!! Tell her parents and waait untill she is a little older! This will give her nightmares forever!!Www@Enter-QA@Com

well im 13 now but i saw the saw movies when i was 12!. They scared me but i got over it at the end!. And then i watched American pie after and then i was completely fine!. So i suggest watching a comedy after watching a horror!. I would of been fine without watching a comedy afterward but it was a really good idea! :DWww@Enter-QA@Com

ive seen saw1 year ago (13 years old)
sleepy hollow is ok
The Blair Witch Project i dont know i never seen it
Hide+Seek is ok but i dont like it anyway
I am Legend isnt even scary
28days Later simply disgusting
The Exorcist - of emily rose!?!?!?!? if yes then dont even think about it

good luckWww@Enter-QA@Com

I am legend is a good enough movie for 12 year olds!. I have the blue ray!. The rest r sorta creepy!. Try letting the child watch one movie and how they cope!. If they work well with one they may work well with the rest!. Good luckWww@Enter-QA@Com

um yea!. I'm 27 and I have screwed up dreams due to the Saw films I believe!. I mean they chop off body parts and have such gory deaths!. if you don't mind the kid having horrible nightmares go ahead and watch them with the kid!. But I wouldn't advise to do so!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I'm 21 and I found the Saw movies disturbing!. I just can't handle gore like I used to be able to!.
And I don't think any of those movies you listed even comes close to comparing to the stuff in Saw!. I probably wouldn't let her watch it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It should be ok!. I think I saw the first Saw film when was I 13/14 and I was ok

Although the 2nd and 3rd freaked me out a little!. Maybe just let her watch the first!. I haven't seen the 4th one, but it's an 18 so it's probs not suitableWww@Enter-QA@Com

umm the saw films are really gruesome and can really give a kid chills, especially a 12 year old, they rate it R for a reason trust me, i saw it wen i was younger n gave me nightmares n phobias!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

ok well im 11 not even 12 yet and it aint scary eve a bit!.i kinda laugh tho!.mainly becouse i no its all fake tho!.if shes seen all of thos then saw aint gonna be nothin!.im not scared of those but 28 days later was scairyer then saw!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Saw IS very disturbing

I had a very nasty scare watching Saw 4 last year - thought I was having a heart attack

The violence is very graphic and very believable!. Definitely not suitable for a 12 year oldWww@Enter-QA@Com

YES YES YES
too gruesome
espacially saw 3 and 4
nudity, violence, language!.
saw three is terriffic, but down right disgusting
WAY TOO DISTURBINGWww@Enter-QA@Com

It would really depend on the 12 y/o!.!.!. It is a torture movie and not a horror flick as the others you have pointed out!. I would insert and press play and turn it off if it became too much!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well the Saw films are pretty gross but I'm 11 and I can handle them but I wouldn't let someone who is squeamish watch them because there are some nasty parts in the movies especially in the last one!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i would advise not to let the 12 year old to see them! They are as many people are saying way too much! What happens to the people in the films are just way to disturbing! May have nightmares for weeks!Www@Enter-QA@Com

I was 13 and saw all the saw films and I didn't complain!. There's a one year difference so no, it's not disturbing!. She's almost 13 !.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Lol if she's seen these than Saw is fine!. The Saw is series is just gory but the Exorcist was kinda gory so i'm sure it'll be fine!.

Hope this helps!

good god if the person has viewed all above they may aswell be allowee to watch whatever tickles their fancy, beware there are people who shall report for q lioke this!!! not me though, my business is mine and so is yours!!!!! lol lolWww@Enter-QA@Com

Well she's seen 28 days later (best movie ever), so yeah she'd prolly be ok with watching them!. Blair witch project is really freaky too!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I don't like horror films but I feel it would be the parents choice whether or not it would be acceptable!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yes! I'm a fan of horror films but I think it's sick and going too far myself!. Whoever finds watching torture entertaining wants their head testing!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Considering that all the Saw movies are rated R, it's generally inadvisable!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

OMG the Saw films are yeh!.!.

Blair witch, hide and seek are!.

Not the exorcist :-( or 28 days later :-(Www@Enter-QA@Com

Then if you let her watch that you might as well let her watch saw cause the people kill themselvesWww@Enter-QA@Com

It wont freak her out, promise!. I'm 12 and I watched all of them and she would see that everything is fake vcery easily!. TRUST ME!.SHE WONT FREAK! glad i helped!Www@Enter-QA@Com
