Question: Naruto vs dbz!.!. as a anime not as powers and abilities!.!. just my theory!?
well in my way of thinking dbz was the greatest anime ever made it was so cool but now that i compare it to naruto it looks so cheap!.!. i mean yea dbz had great characters but not a great story line i mean look at this!.!. it is called dragon ball and dragon ball z and gt not GOKU why did it always end up to goku!? they had great characters like picolo (who is my favorite) tien yamsha they where great characters and each could have made great story line and since the anime was bd and dbz it could have focus on each characters and it could easily have a bigger impact that the one it had,
and now Naruto the title focus on Naruto but if you see the story is about everyone not only about naruto is about sasuke is been about hinata is been about each of them and have a great flow it don’t focus on and then here came naruto and save the day the end!.!.!.!.!.!. is about anyone, i believe that if dbz would have done this whit the Z warriors its fame wouldn’t have crash like it did in DBGT!.!. agreed!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

I agree in some ways, one of the biggest problems I had with it was that no one (Good Guy) could actually die!.
They would eventually be brought back with the Dragon Balls,making it have such a unrealistic feel!.
Another thing is I hated most of the comedy especially in DBZ and DBGT!.
also Goku got credit for everything like he beat Broly,oh but did you forget he never did it by himself!.
Or how the show makes it seem as if he beat Vegeta (I mean why a technique that raises you're power level isn't considered cheating to people,yet they call Vegeta using something he was born with cheating)!?!.
Isn't that like saying Byakugan or Sharingan is cheating!?!.

ummm I've only watched naruto, but I think it's safe to say over all Naruto has one of the best story lines I've ever seen in an anime!. Your wrong though!. There are like millions of other anime out there that are!.!.!. a billion times better than naruto and dbz combined!!! LIKE FMA, Dealth note and Fruits basket!Www@Enter-QA@Com
I haven't watched Dragon Ball Z in like, five or six years, and I've never watched Naruto, but I think Dragon Ball Z is waaay cooler!. And I don't even like anime!

I personally like Dragonball over Naruto!. The series is old, yes, but it's still interesting and well-animated for its time!. I can give you my opinion about your topic, but I'm not quite sure what you're trying to ask here!.
Dragonball started as a slight parody of the story Journey to the West (Saiyuki)!. The series' main character, like Saiyuki, is Son Goku!. It was an adventure series with martial arts thrown in for action!. When it got popular, I think Takahashi-sama (the author) changed his mind and made it more into a martial arts-focused story!. The journey to find the Dragonballs was not the main goal- fighting off the villains who wanted the Dragonballs was!.
Naruto, on the other hand, is a ninja anime, and has been since the beginning!. The focus is the trials of the main character, Naruto, as he grows up and tries to reach his goal of becoming the next Hokage!. The other characters have their own stories as well, like most animes do, but the true story focuses on Naruto!.
The titles of both series reflect this!. Dragonball is about the hunt for and/or protection of the Dragonballs!. Dragonball Z is the future (the next chapter, basically), and also the end!. GT stands for Grand Tour, but is not true canon, since Takahashi-sama wasn't involved with it!. Naruto is about Naruto and his trials!. The authors could have chosen other titles, but I think they chose the ones they did because it sounded and fit the story the best!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

There is a huge gap in the years of which Dragonball Z and Naruto were made!. If you compare Dragonball Z to any anime today of course it would lose!. Dragonball Z is a classic and deserves to be in it's own category and not compared to ANY anime!. Dragonball Z is one of the best animes there is!. It made action anime what it is today!.
As for Naruto without comparing it to anything is a good anime, just not for me!. This is just my opinion on it!. Hope I helped some!. :)

DBZ was the greatest anime i've seen!. But now, it's classic and i think it's still awesome because it reminds of their super saiyans, energy beams, and espicially when they're blowing up a planet or something!. Goku is the strongest character but my favorites were Goten, Gohan, and Vegeta!.
