The Uchiha clan were planning to take over the Leaf Village!. So Itachi killed them so he could protect his village and everyone in it!. The people in charge (3rd Hokage, Danzo, and that old man and woman) told him to kill them!. He let Sasuke live because he truly cared about them!. He joined Akatsuki to spy on them!. Everything he ever did was for the good of the Leaf Village and to protect his little brother Sasuke!. I am just sad that nobody will ever know who Itachi truly was, and Sasuke is an *** for killing him!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
The Uchiha Clan tried to take over the Leaf Village and his Dad was the Leader of the group!.
If they would of attacked the Leaf(Konoha) then other Nations would also attack knowing that it would already be in a Civil War and with two wars then Konohas enemies would have a good chance of taking them out!.
also other Nations may try to also and Konoha's friends might also intervene so were talking about World War 4 in the world of Naruto!.All because the Uchiha Clan rather have control over the Village then find peace!.
Itachi then had a choice to make help start the War and destroy the futures of many or end it for good and he choose right!.

He isn't a hero!. He killed them all to prevent a civil war in konoha that could cause another ninja war!. And he's spent his whole time up to his death protecting his brother and making him stronger so that he'll be able to protect himself from all the people who want the Uchiha clan gone!.
