Sad to say, Lex, that there have only been 358 questions (we are 'question twins"!!!!!!!) about my favorite Anime, Saiyuki!. It does not get talked about it hardly at all when compared to Naruto!! It is an older Anime and Saiyuki NEVER seems to get credit for being the great Anime that it is!!!!! There is action, adventure, drinking, smoking, gambling, swearing (if you call "you bast***" swearing)!. I suppose you feel the same way about Soul Eater!

Nope!. Naruto seems to be way too popular right now and RK has been around for quite some time!. I don't think there aren't as much RK Fans as fancy anime fans because:
Some of RK's plots like the OVAs' offer more serious themes than what your typical kid or teener would appreciate (not that i'm saying kids or teeners are shallow, it's just that more of them would tend to get bored after watching a couple of episodes, especially with the traditional background like the era they lived in, the clothes, the people etc!.!.)
It's designed to cater to boys or men, and there are more women than men, and a lot of those women would tend to stick with what was originally intended for them (not that i'm generalizing again!. just look at how many fans are asking for romantic animes, especially with love triangles, quadrangles and so on)
Fantasy themes are proven formulas for success!. I guess it's because everyone has their own frustrations or aspirations that they need to channel out through something or someone and RK doesn't have much of that to offer (which is why I have loved it for almost ten years now)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
