You might want to see if you can find some of the so-called "underground comix" that thrived briefly from 1969 until they basically died out toward the end of the eighties!. Some, but not all, undergrounds has certain traits in common with "JtHM!." In fact, I doubt your favorite would exist, had the underground comics not broken the ground first!. You might be interested in "Slow Death" and other titles from Last Gasp press!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
As others have said, you'd probably be interested in Vasquez's other work, like Squee, I Feel Sick, and Fillerbunny!. He also has a new comic called Jelly Fist!.
You might be interested in Lenore, which is written by Jhonen Vasquez's friend, Roman Dirge!. It's got dark humor, but is nowhere near as violent as JTHM!.
