Question: Do I have to watch a certain anime before watching Tsubasa Chronicles!?
Well, I've watched CardCaptor Sakura and I heard that Tsubasa Chronicles has similar characters!. So I was wondering if I had to watch a certain show before fully understanding anything in this show!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

the storyline of tsubasa chronicles and cardcaptors are in no way related!. in a way tsubasa is the story of sakura and syaoran in an alternate universe as completely different people!.
tsubasa chronicles is a collaboration project!. CLAMP, a group of 4 female manga artists who created cardcaptors, has used different characters/elements from many of their manga series (ex!. magic knights rayearth and clamp school detectives) in tsubasa!. many of the main characters from cardcaptors were put in tsubasa (sakura, syaoran, yuki, tomoyo, touya), which is why some people often get confused between the two series!.
tsubasa (both the manga and anime) does cross over with another one of CLAMP's series xxxholic, which is also ongoing!. however, the storylines aren't related and you don't need to read/watch one series to understand the other!.

You don't have to watch anything to follow Tsubasa, but any CLAMP works you've seen or read will enhance the experience!. Tsubasa borrows characters from pretty much anything CLAMP has ever done, but the storyline is new!.
Tsubasa also crosses over with XXXHolic!. Both series can stand alone (I personally read Tsubasa but don't follow XXXHolic very closely), but you'll get extra plot points along the way if you watch them both!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

no you don't have to watch anime before Tsubasa Chronicles!. xxx holic has 2 of the same characters that Tsubasa Chronicles has,but these anime do not have anything to do with each other so far!.they even have pretty diff rent plots!. So you can just watch it without watching another anime!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
