Question: What state are 'The Simpsons' from!?
Are they real people or what!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
One episode says nothern kentucky!. In the episode where they have to change their area code, they change it from from 636 to 939, 636 being the area code in St!. Luis, Missouri!. In another episode, Bart stands on a mountain and says he can "!.!.!.see the five states that border Spingfield!." while the five he listed were nowhere near each other!. The writers wanted to leave the location to the imagination of the viewers, so they based the Simpsons in a city that could be in any one of many states!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

This question was already asked!.
This was the "Best Answer"
& they are not real!.

The Behind the Laughter episode did mention it at the end of the show!.

Narrator: The Simpsons' bitter past was forgotten, and now the future looks brighter than ever for this northern Kentucky family!.

However, subsequent airings of the episode show that "northern Kentucky" was changed to "Southern Missouri!.

All of this was merely a joke by the writers to stir up more questions about what state it's in and get everyone in a panic!.

Springfield does not exist!. Or more accurately, Springfield is an amalgamation of whatever towns fit the needs of the episode(s)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
