Question: Darker than black!?
what are the obeisance of Hei and Yin!. i dont get what they have to do for their contract to use their power!. can u explain!?
Another q: who and what is the rumored "syndicate" they keep mentioning!? i know it consists of hei, yin, etc

1!. Hei doesn't have an obeisance because he was not originally a contractor!. He recieved his powers from his sister during the Heaven's Gate incident (somehow his contract was already paid in full, similar to how Mao doesn't have an obeisance anymore because he payed with his original body)!.
2!. Yin is a doll!. Doll's are different than contractors (one of which being that they don't have an obeisance)!.
3!. The syndicate seems to be a criminal organization that Hei and co!. are a part of!. However, at the end of the series it is revealed that the syndicate is controlled by the same people who oversea the PANDORA group!. Basically their goal was to get rid of contractors and the different gates, returning the world back to normal!. To do this they took on many different faces and groups (such as PANDORA and the syndicate), each filling specific roles to help them complete their mission!.
Edit: Well, I just wrote that all out by myself hex!.!.!. so unless I'm channeling wikipedia or something, yeah they copied me!.
Oh, and I disagree about Hei's obeisance being eating- mainly because we see him ALWAYS eating a lot- but it's never like after he uses his power!. For all the other contractors they have to do their repentance soon, whereas Hei seems to have no hurry to go eat, and often times when we do see him eat a crapton of food, he hadn't even used his powers recently (like when he went out and ate with Misaki)!. No other contractor is forced to constatly do a obeisance as would be the case with Hei if it was eating a lot of food!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yin's medium is water, through which she can send her observer spirit anywhere else there is water
