Elfen Lied revolves around the race of diclonius, a mutant human species identified by two cat-ear-like horns and transparent "vectors", and the ways in which the humans abuse and reject them as part of society, instead seizing them for storage and experimentation in an offshore laboratory!. The series is centered around the teenage diclonius girl "Lucy", said to be the first diclonius, becoming sadistic as a result of her vengeance and delivering it on the humans who rejected her!.

If you watch it, the story slowly unfolds over the course of the whole series!. You just need to watch it to the end!. It's an amazing anime

It's in my top 15 Anime series list~ definitely worth watching!. The only Anime series that I saw all in one day~ twice!. (There are 13 episodes, and I saw them all in one sitting two times)!. I was completely absorbed the whole time!. Definitely a great series!.

It's one of the few Anime that are really violent (it's one of the most gory Anime ever made) yet manage to have a great story!.
