The curse was broken!. they key to break the curse was for the cat (kyo) to love and be loved!. and of course, tohru was his beloved!.
So in the end, Tohru and Kyo realize their love for each other and they leave the Sohma house to go to the "outside" world w/o having the burden of the curse!.
Yuki and Machi ends up together!. At the end, Yuki give Machi his apartment keys!. =]Www@Enter-QA@Com

In the manga the very last few pages were heart warming!. Kyo was thanking Tohru for everythings shes done for the Sohmas and she was crying then it lead to some clues to what happened for them and they end up getting married, having a family and still being in love as old people because last page has them holding hands as old ppl!.

In the anime i think she sticks up for herself against Aktio and I think touches his (her) heart and still gets to stay with the Sohmas as a lucky girl
