Hello!. I started watching Bleach about a month ago and now I am a fan of it!. I watched up to Episode 174 and I have some questions that needs to be answered!.
1!. Who is Squad 13 Lieutenant and what happened to him!?
2!. In Arrancar arc, when Grimmjow was fighting Ulquoirra, outside of Hueco Mundo, why was Hueco Mundo bright!? I thought Hueco Mundo is always dark and there is only night!.
3!. When Arrancars or Espadas reach Vasto Lorde, do they return to their original human form before they died!? (I know that when humans die and whey they regret life, they turn into hollow!. And amongst those hollows, some of them eat each other to evolve to Menos to Gillian to Adjuntas to Arrancars)!.
4!. In episode 172, Kira, Kifune, and Seko fell into ground towards middle of episode and encountered with Hollows!. I heard that all of that was set up!? I do not get that!.!.!.

1!.Kaien Shiba was the lieutenant of the 13th Division!. He was closest to Rukia, and it seemed Rukia may have had feelings for him (maybe, maybe not, thats just a feeling I have, not fact) His wife Miya was killed by a hollow and Kaien was so angry and upset he vowedrevenge!. It turned out the hollow was one that could possess people, so it posses Kaien, who turned and attacked Rukia!. She fought as best she could, and durign the battle Kaien got control of his body and thrusted himself on Rukias' sword to save her and everyone and kill the hollow that possessed him!.
2!.When Aizen appeared, he built his castle and developed the sky to mimic the real sky, so sometimes it is day and sometimes it is night
3!.Not much is known about the Vasto Lorde, but I would guess no, I think because they are forced to eat so many hollows with powers, personalities and different attributes, they take on a new form!.
4!. I think it will be revealed in the near future!. The ground was suposed to be strong because the area was originalyl made to be an execution ground!. Prisoners would be thrown to the bottom, where hollows would be waiting to devour them!. The area was cut off because it was deemed to ocruel to throw people into a pit full of hollows, so there should have been no reason the ground would break away!. One shinigami said the ground was tampered with!. And the hollows down at the bottom were behind cages, being studied, yet once they all fell down there the cagessomehow opened when they weren't suposed to!. So the ground that was suposed to be solid fell and the c ages that were suposed to be locked were somehow opened right at the time the guys all fell down!.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

1!. it's Kaien, Rukia killed him because if she doesn't do so he'd go like crazy and kill her along with the captain, a hollow dominated him and was controlling his moves and there was no other way than killing him!.!.!. Rukia regretted that although he thanked her for killing him, omg T_T

1 It is Shiba Kaien and he died about 50 years before the original story took place!. Right now the 13th division has no lieutenant and Sentarou & Kiyone are taking care of everything!.
2 They were not actually in Hueco Mundo, they're in Aizen's castle (Yes! it's THAT BIG!!!) That's why everything is bright, because they're into the castle!. Aizen put a sky into the castle( don't ask me why!) and that's why it looks bright!.

He closely resembled Ichigo Kurosaki in both appearance and personality, particularly his desire to protect those close to him regardless of the law or the personal consequences, something that is brought up multiple times in the series!. Though he had a good relationship with all of his subordinates, he was particularly close with Rukia Kuchiki; he taught her how to fight and helped her find a place within the 13th Division!. Unlike other Soul Reapers, Kaien treated Rukia like any other, not judging her by the name Kuchiki, which in turn helped her to gain some self-confidence!. After his wife, Miyako, was killed by a hollow, Kaien went out to kill the hollow to seek revenge!. He was possessed by the hollow in the process and attacked Rukia who held up her sword in self-defense!. He briefly regained control of his body and thrusted himself on her sword!. Though he thanked her for doing so and apologized for his actions, Rukia forever feels guilty about her role in his death!.

He plans to have the division rely not only on himself, but on Izuru and Kibune as well!. However, much of the focus seems to be on Kibune, making Izuru feel as if he might be replaced!. Izuru comes to further distrust Kibune when they investigate the ruins of the old execution ground at the request of a fellow unseated division member, Seko Shinta!. The ground gives beneath them, and all three fall into the execution pit!. Furthermore, it is filled with caged hollows, who are released almost as soon as they land!. Izuru and Kibune begin to dispatch the hollows, but one manages to partially absorb Shinta!. While this makes Izuru hesitate, Kibune is quite willing to kill him for his lack of skill!. Kira holds Kibune off, and their short exchange ends up freeing Shinta, though he is not expected to survive his injuries!.
