Question: Is there anyone who has read the twilight series and does not like them!?
AND EXPLAIN WHY PLEASEWww@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
Well, I like the Twilight series personally, and look forward to buying 'Breaking Dawn' this summer, but I can see why some people may not!. They may or may not be true, but here are 5 top reasons I came up with:

1)The heroine in the story is a clumsy, trip-over-a-ladybug, incompetent, love-starved, Class-A idiot

Okay, I don't think I worded it correctly (or very nice), but you get the idea!. Bella falls in love with a guy she barely knows for some weeks, and seems to not function at all without him!. Even when they're not together, all she has on her brain is 'Edward, Edward, EDWARD'! It's so annoying how infatuating she is with him, and how she can speak of nothing else!. It's like she's forgotten what it's like an upstanding independent woman!. Parents warn their kids about falling in 'love' with someone so hard that you forget yourself!. Doing that can almost always guarantee more trouble than what it's worth!.

2) The whole vampiric twist on 'Romeo & Juliet'

Let's face it: vampire stories have been exhausted to the point of exasperation!. Especially vampire love stories, with the convenient problem of one of the lovers being human!. People have the right to question what makes this story any different

3) Jacob!.

His name should speak for himself, but for those who don't know, I'll explain!. Jacob is an arrogant, insult-savvy werewolf, arch enemies with vampires!. Especially Edward, because he and Jacob want the same girl!. That's Bella!. Automatically, attachments go to Bella/Edward because they were established first, seem to fit together, and Edward loves her sincerly more than anything!. So basically Bella and Edward have this cute thing going on, when all of a sudden, Jacob's arrogant, higher-than-now self comes along and tries to get Bella for himself!. And if know how fan people infatuations are, a probable 90% or more, are in love with Edward Cullen based on his charm, wit, handsomeness, and love for Bella!. Anything effecting his happiness negatively is a no-no!. One of those things happen to be Jacob, which means he gets all these fangirl's death threats and angry mobs coming at his door!. Plus, Jacob's personality lessen his likability even more!. However, personally, I'd prefer Bella hook up with Jacob because they seem to have more damaging chemistry together!. But that's not happening, apparently!.

4) People just have different tastes in fantasy books

For those who were recommended the Twilight series after finishing up Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and wanted to throw up your entire stomach, it's okay!. We know Borders likes to squeeze all of us fantasy people into one category in the bookshelf, but we can't!. The levels of fantasy can either be too great or opposing to even dream of that!. For example, I liked reading Harry Potter, Artemis Fowl, and Inkheart, but I want to set Charlie Bone, Erdragon, and The Lightning Thief on fire!. Lord of the Rings puts me to sleep, and I don't care enough about Pendragon to finish up the first book!. And Lemony Snicket and the Chronicles of Narnia!.!.!.!.well, I rather they come up with more movies!.
If you look at it that way, you see that fans from the Golden Compas to Maxium Ride, can live in peace and harmony (as longs as we're not to close to each other and bag on other book series far away from their fanatics)!.

5) There's not enough ships (pairings, hook-ups, love interests)

Yes, however you may deny it or protest, at least once, you have looked up or thought about who should hook up with who!. It's a normal, sub-conscience thought that sadly plagues everyone of us, and usually results in the birth of a fangirl (or boy)!. In Twilight and the Twilight reality, there's only 2 possible pairings that:
a) you would actually care if they pursued an relationship
b) would make sense according to the original book plot (canon)
With so little possible pairings, how many fanfictions can you actually make!? And with so little fanfics, how can you tickle your brain with romance pursuits you wouldn't think of and/or have the pleasure of reading in the original plot!? And though the number of pairings usually doesn't affect on whether you read a book or not, it does take a little toll on your enjoyment factor, especially if a couple already established in the plot do not seem to fit together!.

Wow, it seems that when I'm motivated, I can really write a lot! If my English teacher ever found out, I would have to be make 500 worded essays everyday!. Ug, but it was worth it!. Anyway, I hope Twilight fans can see at least a little bit into the minds of people who may not like the series!. Bye for now! :)

I've read the twilight series, and I don't hate them, they're just not a book I would really take a lot of time to read, unlike, say, the HP Series!. My main reason is that they are too long!. Other reasons are becuase I do not find the characters particularily likeable (e!.g!.: Jacob/Bella's Da/sometimes even Bella)!. The books don't really connect with eachother or flow on!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I'm not particularly a fan!. i say the writing isn't really that good!. She writes not as good as J!. K Rowling (note: I dislike her books) or even Diana Wynne Jones!. There are some catchy quotes though!. all in all i still am waiting for the movie!. But i really like the human falls for vampire theme!.
