Shounen-Ai is mild boy and boy (in other word) gay lovers romance!. Harmless really, nothing bad unless you have something completely against gays!.
Yaoi is boy and boy, or in other words gay lovers romance also!. except the one thing different about it compared to shounen-ai is that yaoi has "more" romance, if you know what i mean!.

I don't watched either of them but I know that shounen ai deals with love between young men, and is non-sexual and much less explicit than yaoi!.
