They have sexual desire and don't have an outlet for it, but they have fallen for the lie spread by the video media (tv and films) that watching is satisfying!. So they watch, thinking they will be satsified, but are only stimulated for a little while!. Then they keep on watching and look for more and more powerful (strange/bizarre/perverted) stuff, jut like a heroin addict needs a bigger hit each time!.
They don't realize that it decreses their emotional sensitivity so that if they ever have the opportuntiy for a real relationship later on in life, they have a hard time relating so that the reality seems to fall short!. (Because real life can never be 'as good as' fantasy!.) In fantasy, nobody ever gets wrinkles or sags, or has BO!. In reality, you have to deal with all those things!. But they don't realize how they mess themselves up!.
And the ones who may be the worst off are those who try to deny what they have done to themselves, and angrily defend it as personal or artistic or something!.
