I'd say because of the diversity of the different elements of the show!. With the adundant types of jutsus, plus, the different types of villages and the ranks and status of the Shinobi, it grew popular among many of the Roleplayers out there, and that, is, what I think, the cause of much of the franchise, not saying that that is a bad thing!. It was just that Naruto introduced so many elements, but was still part of one huge story!. also, with the different plot lines, and just how something can be so huge, yet still maintain it's roots, it grew to have a respect among many of the anime watchers out there!. It is the longest-running anime to date, I believe, and I don't see it ending anytime soon!. People are obsessed because they want their lives to be just like what they see, and I don't blame them at all!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Ok, first answer!.!.!.WTF!? People are obsessed with naruto because I don't know why!. They just think it's "so good"!. There are better animes out there!. My favorite is fullmetal alchemist by far!. I think FMA is the best anime because it ties in elements of so many other animes!.

It's a crappy anime with "ninjas" and other crap that idiots find endlessly entertaining for some reason!. People don't have taste, that's why most of the stuff on the radio sucks!.
