Kids have way too much BETTER stuff to do now-a-days!!

Yes, some do!. At the last Free Comic Book Day event, I saw a mass of kids come through the store where I was a guest signer!. The store, which was very family-friendly, offered the main fare, but also had a respectable selection of comics geared for the younger audience!. That's also true on the main floor!. The kids of today are hopefully tomorrow's readers of comics, graphic novels and books!. That's the hope!Www@Enter-QA@Com
I think only kids who have been introduced to comic books by adults read them!. When I was a kid, my local drugstore and supermarket had comic book racks!. Kids today have to go to a comic book store to find them!. Sure, some department stores have graphic novel reprints but comic books are not part of the fabric of childhood like they used to be!. My neice was six years old when she saw her first comic and asked, "What's that!?"Www@Enter-QA@Com
Not too many that I know!. Comic books are sort of expensive and are now written to an older audience!. I read them as a kid, but things have changed since then!. Some of them are much more graphic now, and have very mature themes!. When I visit the Comic book store I usually see older teens and adults!. They still have some titles that kids could read though!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
