Matt first appeared in Volume 10, Chapter 83, page 4!. ^_^ It's right after the part when Aizawa was dropped off by Gevanni!. Matt and Mello were stalking Mogi and Aizawa!.

Matt is in the anime!. He makes two appearances, one as the bored guy watching Misa in Episode 32, and one as the distraction for Mello in Takada's kidnapping in Episode 35!.
