Kurosaki Ichigo (Ichigo is his first name) is the main character!. He's a teenager living a normal life as a japanese teenager going to school yadda yadda yadda!. Has two sisters and a widowed father who is a doctor!.
However, Ichigo was born with the talent to see ghosts (one of his sisters can see them too but she doesn't care about interacting with them)!. Ichigo started to visit a particular ghost of a teenage girl who was kiled in a car crash a few months ago and because of this, unconsciously he's been starting to develop special abilities as a Grim Reaper!.
One day an evil ghost called a Hollow appears in his city causing havoc (however, Ichigo is the only person able to see it)!. A female Grim Reaper that only Ichigo can see named Rukia fights against the demon, but she can't defeat it!.
That evening, the strange girl Rukia appears in his bedroom and she becomes surprised he can see and talk to her!. She explains who she is and that she exorcises ghosts!. The Hollow attacks Ichigo's room and Rukia discovers the Hollow wants Ichigo's powers!.
Rukia ends up getting injured and is forced to lend some of her powers to Ichigo so that he could defeat the Hollow!. However, Ichigo accidentally takes away most of Rukia's powers and easily defeats it!. For some reason Rukia can't recover her powers from Ichigo nor can she return to her world so she is stuck teaming up with Ichigo for the time being until her powers return!. Later on some other characters Ichigo goes to school with discover they also have hidden abilities to fight Hollows!.!.!.
I've only seen the first 6 episodes of the series!. The plot is kind of generic for a shounen series, but it's still pretty enjoyable!. I expected the series to be a bit darker though!. The main downpart of the series though is that it has a ton of episodes filled with fillers, but it's still worth checking out!.
Even though it's about ghosts and Reapers, I don't consider it to be a horror series, it's more of an action series!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Seriously it is awesome, the only problem is that you'll start watching so many that you'll come to the point when they haven't made the next dub yet so you switch to sub and then you can only get episodes subbed the day after they come out in japan!.!.!.!.so then you go back to the weekly schedual of waiting for the next bleach!.!.!.!.wow that was a mouthfullWww@Enter-QA@Com

It is about a guy named Ichigo Kurosaki!.!.He gains hes sould reper powers from a girl named Rukia Kuchiki!.!.!.THe second place main caracture!.So Ichigo was a normal boy!.!.!.But he could see spirits of dead(Don't worry nothing scary there!.!.!.!.!.No scary bloody monsters)Then he gains 3 more alliace with powers!.!.!.And alwayse finds some new anemies !.!.!.!.
