When watching Anime, do you think of the characters as White, Asian, or do you n!
Question: When watching Anime, do you think of the characters as White, Asian, or do you not think of any race at all!?
Answers:
Anime is japanese, so I usually think of the people in anime as japanese!. most of the time, thats what they are!.!.!. and if theyre not japanese, itll say so somewhere in the anime!. For example, it has been said that Tamaki from Ouran High School Host Club is half french, half japanese!.
In these cases, where the characters are half-half, I usually think of them as japanese anyway!. This is because the characters surrounding them didnt pick up on their mixed races, so they must not seem llike anything other than japanese!.
if a character has darker skin or a distinctive name, then I'll think of them as another culture!.!.!. for example, John from Ghost Hunt is Australian, LaLa from School Rumble is hispanic, and so on!.
also, sometimes the artist's style makes it aparent what race a character is!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

If its a realistic anime (like, taking place in Tokyo) I think of them as asian unless stated otherwise!. In a fantasy anime, where they're in a made up place, I don't really think about it!. Even with the realistic anime!.!.!. its not like I start every episode by thinking noticing their race!. >__> You don't really think about it until they actually mention it in the anime!.

I've seen most anime with white-looking characters with Japanese customs/morals!. Probably because I watch Naruto too much, lol!.
I haven't seen characters with black or distinctly asian bloodlines!.!.!. The only black person i've ever seen on anime was that girl from Bleach!.
