Sheer brilliance! I also loved the sequel 'Innocence'!. I watched a sub for the first and a very accurate dub of the second (on Animax's Movie Monday slot)!.
Its really deep stuff- what sci-fi was meant to be like; questioning the implications of robotics, AI, where humanity begins and ends, as well as having some great action shots! The movies have great directing as well!Www@Enter-QA@Com

YES! An outstanding , sublime film as is it's sequel Innocence !. The films explore a number of ideas , e!.g!.reality , what does it mean to be human , et!.al!.
