Question: Does Iceman deserve more credit!?
I know its lame, but my friends always knock me because my favorite superhero is Iceman!. Just because he doesn't have his own comic, tv show, or movie doesn't make him lame!. All my friends say that he's the weakest of any X-Men and all he does is shoot ice out of him!.
I did some research, and apparently Iceman is an Omega-level mutant, the strongest out there!.
So how does one of the strongest mutants out there continue to be mocked and overshadowed by heroes like The Flash and The Green Lantern!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Iceman is a great character!.
but he's part of a group of heroes as a support character!. but the only x-character with his own on-going comic is Wolverine!
and Iceman did have his own show it of course had Spider-man and Firestar in it too!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I hate to say it, but it's all about marketing!. I had some issues with X-Men from the time the first series died till the time they revived it!. Claremont's run was fun and I was willing to forgive many things!. Eventually he left and everything I hadn't liked (like the changes to Hank McCoy which made him a less good partner to Bobby) came back full force!.
There have been lots of powerful and even interesting Mutants over the years who haven't sold well!. Even big names like Namor have times when they aren't selling!. Ice Man would be bigger if he were an important member of a group like Fantastic Four: X-men have been like the avengers for decades and who talks about Hank Pym or his wife the Wasp!?Www@Enter-QA@Com
