When asked about this Staggering Stan the Man Lee, said it's simpler having the characters have the same first/last initials!.

Here's some you missed:D
J!. Jonah Jameson
Matt Murdock -- Dare DevilWww@Enter-QA@Com

Stan Lee did that with his characters because he can't remember names very well, and he was scared of forgetting one of his own characters names!. So he made names like these so that if he forgot a person's name, if he could just remember either the first name or the last name, he'd at least know what letter the other part of the names starts with, so he'd be able to remember it easier!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I always figured it was a just a quirk of the 50s/60s when these characters were created!.

It was a simpler time and I imagine creators like Stan Lee didn't think their creations would have the life span they have had!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

DC does it too; Clark Kent(not the same letter but the same sound), Lois Lane, Lana Lang, etc!., I guess it is so that the names are easily memorable!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

They probably though that it would make the names a bit more punchy & memorable!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

marval creators thought that the names would be more recognizableWww@Enter-QA@Com

It makes them sound more bouncey and catchy!.

And the person above me forgot about Lex Luthor! D:Www@Enter-QA@Com

They were being creative!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
