I love anime because it's really so much DEEPER than most of the tv shows and comic books we have in the US!. ><
Before manga and anime, I read a ton of books, but I loved movies too!. It just seemed like all the good storylines and movies are already done and dead!. Plus, usually the sequel to my favorite movie sucked!. XP Sooo!.!.!. Anime is just something to get away from it all!. It's awesome!. I love it!.
I guess I just got tired of all the 'happy endings, good guy > bad guy' crap I kept getting whenever I watched tv!.

My fav anime RIGHT NOW has gotta be!.!.!.!. Naruto Shippuden!. Ya, how original!? My all time fav is Death Note though!.!.!. That's the Anime that just totally sealed me in as an otaku!. One Piece is the funniest for me!. Wolf's Rain was brilliant, too!. Inuyasha was a classic for me!. Sailor Moon was wonderful- although I haven't watch it since I was 6!. XP
Pokemon was my first addiction!. I used to be into DBZ, but it got sorta old!.!.!.

Naruto Shippuden because!.!.!. well, I love it!. Good storyline, cool characters!. Sometimes I find it a little!.!.!. kiddish- but that's basiclly before time-skip!.!.!. It's just addicting!. Kishimoto is brilliant!.
Death Note is my All Time because!.!.!. quite frankly, it's the best anime I've seen so far!. FMA is challenging that though!.!.!.xD It's just really brilliant in the characters and plot!. Totally believable everything!. And L is just too cool!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
