Stand up comedians?!

Question: Stand up comedians!?
How do you become one, and how do they make their routine!?

I'm known for making people roflmao but I'm not quite sure how I'd make a routine since I suppose most of my humor is either sarcasm or one liners!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Real life experiences are good!. For my Junior Year Drama Exam, I had to do a 5 minute stand up act and I based it around my ethnicity and family (I'm asian!.) Everyone laughed

Look up Brian Regan and Jim Gaffigan also, Daniel Tosh's 'Completely Serious!.'

Jim Gaffian's would be a great place to start!. He talks about Hot Pockets (how disgusting they are) and cake in Offices!. How you'd hate a guy, but if it's his birthday, you'd go and see him in the rec room, just because you want some cake!.

Or try a gimmick, like Jeff Dunham's puppets!.

Another good comic to check out is Mitch Hedburg!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well alot of Stand Up comedians have writers who suggest material, theres only a few out there who still write there own!.
You want to start off with a topic and concentrate around that first take Ricky Gervais for example his DVD/ Tours are named , Animals, Polotics & Fame as he does a whole show around a particular theme!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Have you ever heard of Demetri Martin!? All of his acts are sarcastic one liners but he does like drawing jokes and sketch comedy too!.!.!.!.he's a stand up comedian though and he's really funny!. I'm not really sure how you become one unless you just do amateur nights and stuff until you can get a real gig!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Two essentials, confidence in front of an audience, and unless you script your own, the services of a good gag writer, oh, and the ability to ad lib your way out of trouble!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

if you are funny go to a small comedy stand up place and work you way upWww@Enter-QA@Com
