Question: What makes Death Note so great!?
I've been hearing about it all over the web, unfortunatly I haven't gotten around to actually seeing it yet!. I know the most basic part about it- shinigami & the death note book!. Just curious to hear from the fans why you like Death Note!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

The plot of Death Note is VERY different than your tranditional anime!. It's something that grabs you just by watching the first episode, because its so intense!.
The thing that makes Death Note great it it's psychological aspects it has!. It has man vs!. himself, man vs!. society, AND man vs nature all rolled up into one!. Everything that happens is very unpredictable, unlike most things you see on TV where they WANT you to figure out what is going to happen, you will guess and probably always be wrong!.

Will firstly the story is intersting caz the hero of the series is actually the bad guy (at least for many ppl) but somehow is sticking to his twisted yet understandable principles!.
The animation is top notch with good directing!.
Finally, the series are filled with torturing mind games!.

It's like a massive chess game, and the main character is something of a bad guy that wins alot!. I like bad guys that win!.
There's alot of mental strategy, that's where the chess game part comes in!. I liked just about every single episode except for the very last one!.!.!. but that's just my own opinion!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The whole time you are watching this anime your brain is constantly absorbing everything because there is nothing that isn't important!. its like a brain stimulant!. its like a game that you just can't get enough of your brain is always in over drive making sure that you've got all the details and the charecters are not only breath takingly beautiful but they're complex almost all of them are round charecters!. there is a story behind everything and ever episode leaves you craving more!. its a drug you'll get hooked!. watch it asap!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
at first i thought it would be one of those complicated animes but once you get into it!.!. its SO GOOD!. look for english dubbed episode segments on youtube!. watch the whole series!. i dont think they finished the tv series so read the manga book 13 i think!. thats what i did!. once you finish it, you truly appreciate itWww@Enter-QA@Com
Because it's one of those rare animes where you like the antagonist instead of the good guy!. It's also very complex, which makes it interesting! The characters are also amazing! If you're going to watch it, i suggest you watch it in japanese with english subs ;)Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well, personally, I just love it!. XD Don't know why!.
My guess is that people love the mystery and the deep thought battles between Light and L/Near throughout the series!. They can't get enough of the balance of mystery, action, serious, and comedic in a sense of Death Note<3Www@Enter-QA@Com
