Why do a lot of Manga reader's feel so strongly against Anime filler episode!

Question: Why do a lot of Manga reader's feel so strongly against Anime filler episodes!?
A lot of times people say, "it's not in the Manga"!.

So what!? just because it's not in the manga makes it unofficial or something!. Is it because the people who write the mangas have nothing to do with the anime and anime filler's!? are the fillers written by different writers!?

Are fillers not still a part of the manga, just an addition!. Are they not as official as the manga!. why can't they be just as relevant!?

or are manga purists just a bit snoby when it comes to animes and anime filler episodes!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

I hate fillers because they're annoying and most of the time they're unnecessary and they take time away from the actual storyline!. No matter how good they are, I don't watch the anime to see some crap that the mangaka didn't write, I watch it to see the manga in action!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Personally, it's not the fillers themselves that bug me!. I don't mind some of those episodes because they're entertaining!. I don't consider them to be canon b/c they weren't written by the original author, but that doesn't necessarily make them irrelevant!. For example, the Bount arc in Bleach wasn't in the manga, but it was still entertaining and kept with the original story!.The annoying part comes in when the fillers go on for too long or veer too far away from the original storyline!. It starts to feel like animated fanfiction or something!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Probably more so the fact that you dont learn anything new about the character so its considered a waste of the readers time!.

In my opinion in most in the filler arcs that I have seen !.!.!. you dont learn anything new about the characters in most cases nor do they acquire any new skills so whats the point!. If I a reading I want stories that go in line with the whole story!. Not just a quick arc to distract me!.

Now I dont mind a side story or for 3-6 books but not a full blown arc with 20-30 books!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i just thinck most of the time they do it just to add more entertainment besides the main story line and so if the mangas to far ahead it throws them off hey im with you theres no big deal i say th some thingbecause my mom has read very very far online and see tells me most of the time when theres soposed to be a big fightWww@Enter-QA@Com

I don't like it because I want to be as authentic as possible!. Relevance has nothing to do with it!. I'm sure other manga readers feel this way to!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

They are very much mistaken!. They don't seem to get that without fillers most series, no matter how popular, would face the same fate that plagues American television- cancellation! No one ever said filler storylines had to fit perfectly into the manga continuity- they just FILL in (hence the name) and are best treated as one would treat movies or OVAs!.

Sure, the manga storylines are almost always better than a filler storyline (often with fillers, other writers who are part of the anime adaptation writes the story and the mangaka then approves it)- but consider the alternative; less material!

I cringe at the fact that I only get ONE chapter of Bleach each week, the anime keeps you going, simply because there's more Bleach to go around! It comes off as just another facet of the franchise! Be it a whole new arc that atleast tries to integrate with the main storyline or a 'monster of the week'-esque episode!

So while I enjoy the manga arcs best, I truly am grateful for the fillers and when done right (its not about character development- its about fitting the existing 'profile' of the character into a whole new situation and ideals) they can be quite entertaining!Www@Enter-QA@Com
