Question: What do you think of One Piece 4kids dub!? What do you think of the Funimation dubbed!?

To tell you the truth, at first I liked the 4kids dubbed series (that's because I had never heard of One Piece nor have I read or watched it in Japanese before the 4kids premiered)!. It was enjoyable, but then, after watching it for a while, I started hating it!. I just wished I could skip One Piece, but I didn't want to miss something if it turned out being good, so I kept watching it!. Then I started hating it even more, but of course I kept watching it!. The reason why I hated it was not because of their voices!. In fact I have to admit that I did really liked the voices of the main cast and some additional characters!. (Keep in mind I haven't watched the subbed)!. What totally ruined One Piece for me was the editing and the very lame scripting (especially the jokes and puns)!.
I haven't really watched the funimation dubbed one, but I prefered the 4kids VOICES!. Though, it seemed as though they are taking One Piece more seriously than 4kids!. The series is more serious, but since it is premiering on cartoon network and not adult swim or other channels that shows more mature series, there will still be some editing!. Usually the english dubbed companies release the unedited version on DVD so if they are available, I might check them out!. I heard that a lot of the dubbed fans are thanking Funimation for taking over One Piece, which means they might be doing a much better job, less editing, etc!. than 4kids!. Let's hope so!.
But overall, the 4kids scripting is horrible and the Funimation is okay!. However, I would consider them more of a parody version of the orginal Japanese!. Though, like I said, I haven't watched enough of the Funimation dubbed to know for sure if One Piece Funimation is good!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
